Concord Players Policy on CORI

In the event of a minor or minors being present in the cast or crew of a production, all cast and production team members over the age of 18 will be subject to a CORI investigation. The Concord Players has been registered with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a non-profit organization that has programming that may involve minors.

This registration allows The Concord Players to request CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information). Once we submit a CORI request to the Department of Criminal Justice Information Services (DCJIS), they will provide us with the following information:

Any information received back from the DCJIS will be kept strictly confidential; only the producers will receive the reports. If any issues of concern are raised, they will be discussed with the individual and appropriate action will be taken. The records from the DCJIS will be kept in a secure location for one year (compliant with CORI regulations).

Each person will be required to fill out an Acknowledgement/Subject Information Form. These should be filled out and returned to the Producer at the first rehearsal/production meeting after the form is received. Forms can also be scanned and electronically sent to the Producer. These forms will be kept in a secure location.

Any questions or concerns should be directed to the Producer.
